Vanishing Anne

19th September – 30th November

I took a break – Closed down Social Media (on my phone) and had myself some space to process the abstract fact that I’m near 50 now, when my soul screams at me that I’m still a teenager. The aches and pains and crappy eyesight might reflect my physical age – but they can be dealt with as my heart is still young and I crave for adventure beyond the mundane for Is till don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

For a vast majority of my life I wanted to write – Indeed that is why I started this blog – Yet in order to peruse my passion and learn more I enrolled at University to study a Diploma in Creative Writing – This course murdered my dreams of writing and any ideas I had for studying any further courses at University. Yet I persisted with my blog and it became a kinda online journal – a safe space for me to share my thoughts and generally post nonsense.

Though that lingering desire to write is still etched into the back of my skull and as I no linger feel comfortable rambling about myself – I thought I would try writing a little fiction – just to see where this goes (if anywhere) so following this post I shall upload the introduction and we shall see where we go from there.

  1. Send your stuff to me. I’ll review as I can. I’m not editor, but have learned quite a bit in the last 5 or 6 years of doing this myself. Learning to Write Well is a noble, impossible goal.
